These petit fours are not made by Gerard Mulot...
I spent the weekend in a village in Provence
with blogger friend Corey...
On Friday, Ann (MobayDP) commented:
You need to start showing us some buildings in Paris now!!!
PLEEEEEEEEEASE!!!
I hope some buildings in this village will do...
Until I get some Paris shots...
Please note this shade of blue!
A typical Provencal fountain.. No running water since there's been no rain for months.
A typical serene village street... Plenty of blue shutters but where's the baguette?
It's 45 minutes outside of Aix..
The soft muted colors everywhere kept reminding me of something...
Especially that shade of blue,
A favorite in my paintbox -
"Cobalt blue"
Ah Ha!
Did Tiepolo pass through Provence enroute to Venice..? Or did all these villagers visit the Musee Jacquemart-Andres ?
