Did you have big success on Black Friday?Were you out at the crack of dawn catching all the rock-bottom bargains?
BEAR was dreaming he was back in the duty-free shops of Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport grabbing up the Frenchie bargains...
T-shirts for bears...
This 'I WAS IN PARIS' Tee was very appealing...
Not to mention the endless supply...
Of other bears...
And Eiffel Towers up the whazoo at CDG...
In every color of the rainbow.
Bear was wishing he'd bought this dapper neckerchief perhaps made by Lanvin..?
And some French regional caramels would have been nice...
Maybe next trip, BEAR will bring along his own valise/suitcase so he can bring back some goodies too...BONJOUR BEAR FRIDAY!

I never miss a visit to the Musee Les Arts Decoratifs when I'm in Paris...
As fabulous as their fashion exhibits are, they also have another side that appeals to me...
Currently and through 17 October they're showing, Exposition Petites et grosses bêtes 
Supremely witty and whimsical exhibit of children's animal toys I could not resist.
Regarde! A New York dog walker is in residence.
He has to be French non?

Just a few blocks away Baby Tuileries 326 rue St. Honore has bears dressed in their finest on swings...
Why are there no animals in New York City everywhere you turn? c'est pas juste :(

Mini Tea Time watercolor, 9" x 11"I'm off to David Dewey's watercolor workshop in Maine next week. But I still want to paint some still lifes...
What to take with me that won't fill up too much space?
Isn't it clever of Pierre Herme to create dessert art to use in the background of my still lifes?
My suitcase is overloaded...
But for the life of me... 
I can not find my MACARONS!!! 
Oh there they are, safe and sound :)
I could use a "drink me" bottle like Alice to get very small...
To set up these %$#@! still lifes...hmmm
There's a new yellow bird on board. Bear wants to know if they are both going to Maine or is he just going or are they even going at all!?

Even though he missed our new first lady (to be)...
And even though he missed this polar bear coat I spotted a year ago in FOA Schwartz...
Just the mention of winter whites makes me remember this fab polar bear poster in the Paris Metro...
Getting back to why I went to see the bears yesterday...
Bill showed these amazing huge polar bears that appear annually in Linda Horn's Xmas windows...
So of course I had to venture out to see them didn't I? So I could report back to y'all?
And as synchronicity would have it, don't you know PBS Nature Series last night featured Artic POLAR BEARS!!!
Did you know a polar bear's nose is better at sniffing out smells that a Blood hound?
And that the average polar bear weighs in at 1000 pounds, but her new born baby weighs only ONE pound?
Please new Pres-elect - lets not forget about saving the polar bears, among the thousand or so pressing issues you have on your to-do list!
