Animals bearing gifts is always a welcome sight. Though this Bergdorfs Doberman looks like he might take a bite out of you if the gift box were not firmly wedged between his teeth...ahem
I prefer a pugs bearing a diamond-studded mini pugs to the fierce Bergdorf hound...
Racoons wearing pendents and pheasants decked in diamond bracelets are certainement easy on the eye...
I LOVE Mes VitrinesNYC green reindeer spotted at Covent Garden in London...
Rather more than this odd New York reindeer sporting a wild boar and a goose on his back - who knows what this means? I haven't a clue...
Their clock-work elephant makes a tad more sense but not much...
I'll take Ralph Laurens Rugby giant swan anyday.
Offspring Dylan of Dylan's Candy loves fishing penquins and who can blame her? Especially when the fish are Swedish and not on the endangered list!
Roasting marshmellows over an open fire of candy corn looks like fun...
There is a plethora of bears in New York Xmas windows...
With good reason - the well-dressed bear is an essential...
Cashmere scarf + woodsy red-checked hat makes the New York bear de super classe...
I got it from BEAR'S mouth and who would know better?BONJOUR NEW YORK ANIMAUX!

I never miss a visit to the Musee Les Arts Decoratifs when I'm in Paris...
As fabulous as their fashion exhibits are, they also have another side that appeals to me...
Currently and through 17 October they're showing, Exposition Petites et grosses bêtes
Supremely witty and whimsical exhibit of children's animal toys I could not resist.
Regarde! A New York dog walker is in residence. He has to be French non?
Bears/nounours up the whazoo.
Bears/nounours up the whazoo. Do translate if you can..something about a flea?
"Les elephants sont toujours representes plus petits que natures, mais une puce toujours plus grande".
Another irresistable bear...
Just a few blocks away Baby Tuileries 326 rue St. Honore has bears dressed in their finest on swings...
Why are there no animals in New York City everywhere you turn? c'est pas juste :(
Pierre Herme pastry-eating mini bird, watercolor, 9" x 11"
Are you a dog person?
Or a chat person?
There's plenty of goodies for animal lovers at Plastiques on 103 rue de Rennes 75006
Here's a little dog I found waiting in the CDG airport loo.

Here's a little dog I found waiting in the CDG airport loo. No dogs allowed at JFK I'm afraid...

Dogs, flowers, cafes, facades, street signs and the Eiffel Tower are turning up on a regular basis.
Like these two Parisien dogs greeting each other on rue St.-Dominique..
I was mainly walking around my neighborhood, the 7th, then I headed across the Pont d'Alma to Avenue Montaigne to catch some posh facades like Dior and Chanel...
After, I headed over to the Champs-Elysees and the cafes were packed!
Time for a transfusion at 75, Ave de Champs-Elysee.
I'm troubled by a serious question in my patisserie ventures this trip...
Why don't these places offer any plain old apples. As an alternate choice for those of us who have resistance issues. If we saw an apple beside these delicacies (plus if they would list the calories like in NYC) well, we might do the right thing.
Just an insight I wanted to share with you...
Just an insight I wanted to share with you...
Taking 500 photos daily and traipsing all over town is wearing me out and these hot chocolate and macarons "transfusions" are NOT doing the trick.
But there is solution, besides heading home, climbing 6 flights and falling into a coma.
Go to the movies.
Go to the movies.
I had a wonderful snooze at LAST CHANCE HARVEY and was all fired up to carry on completely refreshed.
Easy as pie.
There's a sign in the middle of the bus announcing the next stop and how many minutes till they arrive. Perfect for type As.
