BEAR has let it be know that he'd like to be 'in the picture' so to speak...
BEAR Loves Roses, Fraises, Macarons, Watercolor, 9" x 11"~
Speaking of roses, Parisien jeweler, Victoire de Castellane also loves roses and has an exhibit of rare flowers at the Gagosian Galerie on 4 Rue Ponthieu 75008 until March 22nd.
Photos by Thierry Depagne
The display is quite sensational...
Jeweled flowers...
Under glass domes...
As they well deserve...
Castellane designed jewelry for Chanel for 14 years...
And then moved on to Dior in 1998...
As the first Creative Director of the jewelry department...
Basically self-taught, Castellane made her first piece of jewelry at the age 5 by wrecking a precious brooch of her mothers and making it into earrings.
She adores playing with unusual materials and the unexpected...
Toys and whimsey are a constant source of inspiration.Don't miss hearing her speak...

I'm always in search of yet another pair of sunglasses. I have many but I typically have one pair that I wear daily and keep in my car. I take proper care of them ~ store them in cases, and I can't recall the last time I lost or damaged a pair... but then it happened. As I dropped off my son at a friend's house and went inside to say hello, I left my Tom Ford Whitney's on the dashboard. I came back to find a lens sitting on the passenger's seat, another on the back seat and an arm on the floor. I thought 'No! Not my sunglasses!' but it was true, Bogie had them in pieces. I still can't believe he was able to do such damage in that short of time. He's still a puppy and, in my opinion, an angel but I no longer leave anything in the car with him. I learned my lesson.. and now I'm in search of a new pair.

Dystopian dreaminess in Karl Lagerfeld's strangely beautiful new 'short', Window World by Karl Lagerfeld, in which store mannequins come to life. Love the looks and styling of the female models (Magdalena Frackowiak and Barbara Dvorakova) as modern day haute-couture Hitchcock heroines.

I can't begin to count everything on my wishlist for autumn! There are so many beautiful choices this season. Below is a list of my favourite products, whether new or ones that I keep going back to.
These YSL heels took my breath away! The colour is magnificent!
Julie Hewitt lipsticks and lip balms are amazing! The website gives a description of the understones for the noir collection, as well as which skintones the colours compliment. I have only tried the lipsticks and lip balm so I cannot review on the rest of her products.

Noir Collection set
Organic Camellia lip balm. This comes in a tube also. As you can see, this product has many wonderful ingredients.
I've been a fan of this line for quite sometime. I love each product I have tried! I was thrilled when they began shipping to the US. In the past, I relied on a friend to ship from the UK. Isn't this peacock gift box lovely?
Rose and Co Apothecary
Nanette Lepore is a romantic clothing line. She knows how to fit a woman's body and make you feel elegant. I purchased this dress for my birthday dinner. Not only will it look fabulous with my favourite Louboutin pumps, but also with tights and knee boots.
Casino Royale Dress
Classic Chanel ballerina flats. Ballerina flats belong in every wardrobe. I frequently wear mine, they're comfortable and look chic with almost every ensemble. I want to add another pair of Chanel this season. Pretty Ballerinas make stunning flats also.

Bonjour mes amis! I'm sorry for my absence. My days have been filled shopping for school supplies and enjoying the last days of summer with my children before the school year begins. I'm never quite ready to send them back.
With the 100+ temps we're having, I'm dreaming of cooler temperatures and autumn fashion!
