Last night French Girl and I went out to shoot the windows/les vitrines...
Au Printemps department store was celebrating La Fete du Printemps...
With giant floral bunnies...
Floral swans...
In lavender no less...
And flower-headed Rockette Chorus girls...
Lined up...
In sumptuous rows...
A flower power couple even...
This flower girl succumbed to Spring Fever and fainted...
In a swoon from rose perfumes...
Hidden in ribboned boxes...
Suddenly behind us on boulevard Haussmann we heard a great WOOSH!
Hundreds upon hundreds of Parisien skaters took over the street in a woosh of Spring Fever! Labels: Chocolate bunnies, flowers, L'Escargot, paris maps, perfume, Printemps

Looking for Spring in all the wrong places...
Dans les rues?
Non! Pas possible...
Dans les vitrines?
Oui. Absolutement!
You can always buy yourself some Spring...
I did...
Wear it on your feet?
At Zara - a tiny springie skirt...
At Kenzo - head-to-toe spring...
Read about Spring?
Put it behind your ear at Annick Goutal...
Drink it at Printemps de la Maison - Vie Tao...Very refreshing!
Sadaharu Aoki has Spring on offer the year round...
A refreshing dip in the St. Germain piscine/pool anyone?
Meet you there at 9!

BONJOUR PARIS SPRING!

Yesterday I got a last minute 'Spring' assignment...
From Parisien online perfume company, I Love Parfums I work for...
OMG!I started tearing out hairs and then in flash it came to me...
Voila!
Tomorrow I'll be hunting for Spring for real...
I promise not to miss a trick...
I'll be checking all the Paris vitrines/windows...
Guerlain's vitrines are full of fleurs of a sort...
Yesterday Peter's Paris again showed the burgeoning Printemps...
Manon 21 has just created these witty printed flowers in pots...
I'm off to the pool for my usual swim-before-traveling. I'm almost all packed. In Paris I would LOVE to go to this Aquabike classe at La Maison Popincourt. On verra bien (one can always hope...)

Some people are madly searching for signs of Spring...Some people have had to look in other people's backyards since Spring is rather reluctant to show up on the East Coast.
I got this glass teapot in Paris at Les Comptoirs Richard and it makes an awfully nice vase in a pinch don't ya think?
Do you know Manon 21?Well you should! Even though this is an older photo, Manon does divinely poetic French posts.
SVP do drop in....
Heather lives in Paris and has lots of 'Paris Secrets' to tell. Including that the daffs are out in the parc! Fancy that. Wonder what the French word for daffodil can be?
Watercolorist Sue of A Brush With Color does the best arrangements and these are from her garden. Who is not jealouse?
So far Vienna is neck-in-neck with NYC hanging back in the race to Printemps, but Merisi of Vienna has found flowers on teacups which is nearly as good, well almost...
Yellow roses of Ireland are featured at Harpist Amy and you can hear her play exquisitely to bouquets of roses. *Not to be missed!
Walzing around the Marais (in the days when I could walz) I discovered Vertige on 11, rue de Sevigne 75004.
They specialize in featuring mainly greens...
Don't miss their galerie of greenie photos - simply lush.
Meanwhile artist Ian Sidaway is out sketching in his allotment - Lucky Ian!Labels: Au Nom de la Rose, Printemps, roses
