Today is the fifth annual celebration of Jour du Macaron in France. Macaron Day was begun in 1995 by famous pâtissier Pierre Hermé.
I will be visiting my favourite french restaurant! The lovely Anita from Castles, Crowns and Carriages informed me that the french macarons from Trader Joe's are divine ~ merci, Anita!
Au Revoir! xoxo, B
Angelic Macaron
Just because you won't be celebrating Le Jour du Macaron in France today, it does not mean you can't dream up your own special soirée. Not only is this a day to celebrate this delightful pleasure, it's a day to contribute funds and awareness to La Federation des Maladies Orphelines ~ a charitable organization to support research funding for rare illnesses.
