Certaines personnes/some people have a lot of confiture/jam in their refrigerators...
Certaines personnes think it's perfectly OK to go out and leave other persons alone in their apartment completely surrounded by jam jars...ahem
Certaines personnes happen to be on vacance in Barcelona and are not going to see this post...
These certaines personnes have tremendous amounts of jam in their frigo..
And on their pantry shelves.
Certaines personnes have uncles who make their own honey/miel, so don't think of giving them a fancy jar of honey when they run out...no way!
Certaines personnes have boxes of jam tartelettes hanging around...
Certaines other personnes can only get up close and personal with a jar of jam when it's through a camera lense...
They are allowed to get chummy with jars of paint pigment. BUT THAT IS IT. PERIOD.
At Fortum & Masons...
It's best to keep certaines personnes at a distance from the jam jars. Certaines personnes have been known to attack a jar of jam with a spoon and not stop till they hit bottom.Labels: christine Ferber, confiture, French Girl, jam

Can we ever have too much jam?
Maybe I should re-phrase that... Can I ever have too much jam, preserves, confiture?Just give me a spoon and a good jar of jam and I'm as happy as a clam. Which is why I can never bring jam into the house. I'll eat it!
It's also why Paris is one land mine after another for me.
My dad used to make strawberries preserves in the summer - he was from Iowa. And my grandmother used to arrive bearing gifts of huge jars of cherry preserves. is that the root of my obsession? These days all I'm allowed is very tiny jars of jam :(
Course Maxie can have all the jam he wants. Here he is at cafe Le Valentine in the 9th...What's your favorite jam?
BONNE JOURNEE!

You only had to wait 24 hours for the "surprise". I had to wait 2 weeks...NEW - WONDERFUL MAISON PIERRE HERME DESSERTS MINI COLLECTION!
I spotted on Flickr a wonderful photo by ICY NERD of these sweet little dollhouse Pierre Herme desserts and of course I HAD TO HAVE THEM!
I couldn't really be sure what size the miniatures were?Would they go with my dollhouse tea set?
After careful comparative analysis I have to admit that NO, they are much smaller than my dollhouse tea set. This "real" package of Pierre Herme hot chocolate powder is
4 1/4" tall versus the miniature is just 3/4" high...
Sized 5 3/4" wide by 8 1/4" tall...
The tiny life-like PH sac is 2" x 2"
You get the picture?
Even one teeny, tiny jar of Christine Ferbier jam made for Pierre Herme is included. You tell me what the flavour is. My magnifying glass isn't strong enough.
I think I need a microscope here!
At least all the desserts fit nicely on my dollhouse silver tray...
Look at it this way - What better way to curb your appetite after the Holiday excess with these non-caloric miniatures? Labels: christine Ferber, jam, miniatures, Pierre Herme
