My beauty adviser, Stacy came to our house with a funky new pedicure.
She had gotten Katy Perry's OPI black and silver crackle (real name shatter) nail polish. I loved that way it looked. It's apparently all the rage in the salons for summer!
Will you be trying it? I know I will!

First: Part your hair where you would like to add the extension

Second: Practice opening the clip so that you can secure it properly to your hair

Third: Place the clip on your own hair just below the part. Moving the clip upward, catch your own hair in the clip and snap it closed

Last Step: Style your hair as desired. The extensions are real hair and can be flat ironed or curled.

Who doesn't like being able to make a non-permanent statement. Hair Extensions has easiLites and they look like the perfect extension. I like the idea of colored extensions and have found some that are the perfect clip in for a night out on the town. They look easy to install and can be removed just as quickly. I kind of like the purple? Which color do you like?

I was recently at the nail salon and heard about Shellac Nail Polish. Its a UV-cured color that lasts for two weeks without chipping. Its easy to remove, just soak in nail polish remover and you're on your way. The woman I was sitting next to was raving about it. Says shes very hard on her nails and they truly don't chip. She will now only get Shellac Manicures. With Wedding season on its way, my next trip to the salon will be to get a Shellac Manicure! Will you be giving it a try?

My salon expert (Stacy Sawyer) has recommended a product to me. Its Moroccanoil and its a miracle worker for your hair. It revives, strengthens and conditions your hair all while cutting down your drying time. I put it in my hair after a shower. Since I have sensitive skin I only use a small nickle size and I rub it on the ends of my hair. It is a truly great product. If you have hair that needs managing give it a try, its definitely worth it.

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit
For those of you who have sensitive skin like me, you have tried anything and everything and it still makes you break out. Well, as I have stated before I am a product connoisseur and I truly have tried EVERYTHING. I have found four products that work well for me, maybe they will work well for you too. Aveda has a large variety of products that many people swear by. I myself accidentally stumbled upon the acne line and it has saved my face. The Outer Peace collection has many items to chose from but I personally like the foaming wash and the lotion. Both products are light and have kept my face relatively pimple free. Clinique is well knows for its acne preventing lines. I love the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel because its light, perfect for summer, and has never made me break out. The last product I don't use often unless my skin needs a boost. Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub is just enough oomph to clean the dead skin off my face and still keep my pimple free. Using it too much will irritate my skin, but one a week will do the trick.

I have about ten lip balms around me at all times. I like trying new ones and I have some old favorites I refuse to let go of. My ultimate favorite is Chapstick's Brest Cancer Awareness Balm. It is so hard to find so I stock up whenever I find what it. I have even received it as a Christmas present! I have three other favorites that holds a special place in my heart. The first is Kiss My Face's Pina Colada Lip Balm. Kiss my face is a based out of the Hudson Valley and they have wonderful products. This balm is light and perfect and the flavor isn't overwhelming either. The other I found wandering around a drugstore looking to make a misc purchase. Its EOS Lip Balm and the packaging is awesome. I have the Lemon flavor but there are others you can get, Summer Fruit, Tangerine, Sweet Mint, ect. It also goes on smooth and its flavor is great too. (I promise I am not eating them! ) The last and newest addition to my favorite list is Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in the Hibiscus color. I am not usually a fan of tinted lip balms but this one has changed my heart. The color is perfect and its such a slight change to the color of my lips its truly makes them pop. It goes on smoothly and to be honest I feel in love with the packaging it comes in too. Its moving it's way up my favorites list very quickly. Please trust me when I say this one is worth the purchase.

Essie's Cute as a Button
I am in love with nail polish among other things. I love greys and mauve for fall along with the darkest purples (OPI's Lincoln Park after Midnight) , reds, and blues. I have just recently switched to my spring colors and my first pick is Essie's Cute as a Button. Its bright but not too bright and the shade of pink makes my hands look very girly and fun! I highly recommend changing your polish soon! It helps you get in the mood for Spring!

I forgot to mention my other two addictions: Nail Polish, and Products! Allllllll Products. Right now I am currently trying Murad's Shampoo and Conditioner for fine hair. Now, I have heard its for thinning hair but my salon excerpt (Stacy Sawer) tells me that its great at helping your hair grow faster! So I was immediately hooked. So far, I love it. Its got a cool minty smell and makes my scalp tingle. The conditioner isn't slippery so my hair gets a little tangled but nothing unmanageable. It has been a nice first week. My hair has a little more volume than usual, and it feels soft to the touch. I will let you know how it all pans out when the bottle is gone.
Don't forget! Fish Oils help hair grow too, and GNC even has a Hair and Nails vitamin to promote growth (Thank you Jessie the vitamin guru ).
