The Gelato Diet (or dieta) requires you...
To eat THREE gelatos a day...
Preferably in a conno or cone. And you MUST be in Italy. This regime works no where else.
Where to find your gelato to get started?
Look for a giant colorful triple cone display.
It could well be a sign... Piccolo (small)
Media (medium [HA!])
Grande (BIG)
And in this case gigante is also on offer. Doing a bit of comparison pricing wouldn't hurt, but as a rule this dieta will not break the banco.
Please note that sizes can often be displayed diagramatically... This will not effect weight loss at all.
Getting to know your flavors is hard work - there are so many!
Who knew 'Galak' was white chocolate?
Some people will only eat pistacchio, pistacchio...
PISTACCHIO!
Were you wondering about exercising on The Gelato Diet?
You will not be alone on The Gelato Diet.
When do you get the sylph-like figure you've been dreaming of?
Getting to know your flavors is hard work - there are so many! Don't worry.
Be happy.
There is Sacher Torte gelato especially for you.

Some people will only eat pistacchio, pistacchio...
PISTACCHIO!
Were you wondering about exercising on The Gelato Diet? The answer is on the counter in 5 languages:
Il gelato da passeggio non puo essere consumato al tavolo! Grazie. Ice creams purchased at the bar may not be enjoyed sitting at the tables!
So you must walk with your gelato - this is great exercise.
You will not be alone on The Gelato Diet. Don't worry.
There are many buddy members to team up with for support.
When do you get the sylph-like figure you've been dreaming of? You MUST leave Italy.
Go to Paris par example...
No gelato will ever taste the same outside of Italy io promesso.
Going cold turkey/tacchino freddo is the way to fit into that Eres bathing suit. Where to get your Gelato in Venice?
Try:
Fantasy, Il Gelatone, Il Pinguino, Da Nico, Alaska, El Todaro, Lo Squero, Suso, Millevoglie etc.
For the BEST gelato in the world you MUST go to Bologna to Sorbetteria Castiglione.
I did.
Just 1 1/2 hours away by Eurostar train from Venice and well worth it!
BUON GIORNO The Gelato Dieta!

But just take a look at my watercolor paintbox. Pretty delicious no?
Here are some big BLOCX watercolor pans. You can't get these in the USA. Is it because they look too much like ice cream? :)
These La Maison du Chocolat ice cream containers are nice and neat and tidy...
My paintbox looked like that for 5 minutes when it was brand new...
It's all gouged out like these ice cream bins. I love my watercolors as much as I love ice cream :) Although lately I'm thinking more about ice cream than painting...
When GROM recently opened their gelato shop in Florence, a friend told me there was a big stink because you couldn't
gaze at all the different flavors (with anticipation and angst)
like in most Italian gelato shops. Isn't that part of the fun of getting ice cream? Looking at all the colors and imagining what they taste like?
Painting is like that too. Here you can gaze at a VERY expensive paintbox with tons of colors/flavors. But if you had to choose between this 924 Euro paintbox and say 500 ice cream cones...Which would you choose?

I've always loved the smell of coffee. When I lived on 13th street, my next door neighbor's morning coffee would waft through the wall and wake me up like the best alarm clock.
And I've always loved coffee ice cream, even if it keeps me up till 3AM. But last Paris trip I learned to love coffee every which way. I tasted this "flight" of different expressos...
When I visited the coffee factory outside Paris. And I got to experience every step of the coffee roasting process. These resident antique coffee mills are no longer in use
Talk about heady coffee aromas - There is nothing like marching through a coffee roasting factory for a wake-up call. Roasting transforms the green beans into a product that can be brewed and unlocks at least 700 aromatic elements!
A wide range of carefully selected beans are blended just like wine or chocolate.
Freshly roasted coffee is sent out every morning to Paris' cafes and restaurantsin these sweet little trucks... guess who's wearing the white coat and hat?
And lands on your Paris cafe table ready to wake you up! Just enhale...YUM!
Have you had coffee at Les Deux Magots, Angelina, Cafe de Flore, Bhudda Bar, La Tour d'Argent, Le Dome, La Coupole, Le Jules Verne Tour Eiffel, you've been drinking Cafes Richard coffee.Labels: Angelina, Cafés Richard, coffee cups, creme glacee
