Princess Beatrice's royal wedding hat has been sold for a staggering £81,100.
The young royal posted the hat on auction site eBay to raise money for two charities and the bidding exceeded all expectations.
Dragon's Den star Duncan Bannatyne kicked off the bidding with a generous offer of £5,000 and it escalated from there.
The hat has been compared to everything from a pretzel to a toilet seat when she wore it at her cousin Prince William's wedding last month.
One hundred and fourteen bids were placed during its run on the site.
In a statement, Beatrice said: 'I've been amazed by the amount of attention it has attracted. I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have.'
