Patrick, 45, a keen autocar racer, was practising for the Bosch Engineering 250 race on Saturday in Virginia when another car collided with his No. 40 Mazda RX-8.
According to E! Online, although the car suffered severe damage, the Valentine's Day actor himself emerged completely unscathed from the accident.
