Black Eyed Peas star Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel have praised their bodyguard after he helped save a man's life.
The couple were on board a flight from New York to Los Angeles when the plane had to be diverted due to a passenger's medical emergency.
Sources on the late-night flight told TMZ.com that a passenger began vomiting, then had a seizure.
Fergie and Duhamel's bodyguard, Pascal, rushed to help flight attendants move the passenger into the aisle.
A doctor, who happened to be on board, performed CPR; then Pascal moved the man to the back of the plane, where flight attendants attached him to a heart monitor.
The flight was diverted to Las Vegas, where the passenger was taken off and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
When the star couple finally arrived at Los Angeles airport Duhamel told waiting reporters: 'Our man Pascal saved him. He's a hero.'
