The ground is still blanketed in snow and the weather outside is indeed frightful. My snow style inspiration: Julie Christie in Dr Zhivago. She is beautiful and looks entirely chic throughout the whole film. I am also absolutely loving her natural, understated makeup and nude lips: it's so AW10. So you don't freeze, top off your look with a fur hat for a touch of cold weather glamour.

Styling Tip: Do as Julie Christie does and keep your makeup fresh and dewy.

Whenever it snows, I'd rather be atop a mountain. On skis. Or at least sipping some (Swiss) chocolat chaud by a roaring fire. As it should be. Alas for me, I am in town, and outside, the snow is falling for the first time this year. I love how snow brings out my (not so inner) child and when flicking through the D&G AW 10 collections for both men and women it appears that I am not the only one. These collections brought a smile to my face.
